Description

The Leo Triplet @ f/5.9 (430mm focal length)
The Leo Triplet is a small group of galaxies about 35 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. This galaxy group consists of the spiral galaxies M65, M66, and NGC 3628. That means, the photons on my camera sensor last night left the Leo Triplet 35 million years ago, traveling at the speed of light

(186,000 miles per second..) wow!!!
New data: Only 1Hr and 25 mins: 20 x 180secs, 5 x 300secs, plus 20 Darks, 20 Flats per set. Stacked in Astro Pixel Processor, post processed in Pixinsight with final touches using Paintshop pro for clarity, vibrancy, and white balance.
Equipment used: WO Z73 doublet apo on GEM28 mount with GPS, ZWO 183MC Pro main camera, ZWO 120mm guidecam, ZWO EAF, ASI Air Pro, Optolong L enhance filter, dew heater straps, and all powered by Jackery packs.
